About us

My profile on alternative Medicine:

Ahmed Isyaku, born in Katsina , Katsina State of Nigeria, is a herbal medicine practitioner and a natural medicine researcher. He's also a linguist.  He is presently the Secretary to Islamic Medicine practitioners association of Katsina state , under a mother association AMALGAMATED HERBAL MEDICINE PRACTITIONERS ASSOCIATION OF KATSINA STATE.  Isyaku conducts research on Arab traditional medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, Chinese and African traditional medicine (especially Hausa traditional medicine) in  light of science. He is often assisted by his parent and sister as healthcare workers (especially on health information in order to  correct the information in his publications) as well as some professional herbal practitioners.

His scope of research covers home remedies, medicinal properties of some herbs and their health benefits. Isyaku is the Manager of Madinah Islamic Medicine (CAC: KT2557) . His internet publications (under Madinah Islamic Medicine's blog) on some herbs and  health issues in Hausa language are  popular - widely read , published and plagiarized in many publications on Facebook, websites and other social media platforms. His large number of write-ups are also published in some Playstore health applications which were developed by some medical students abroad (in Egypt)  in which his phone number and email were included in the applications for consultation; one of these popular applications in Playstore  is MAGANI A GONAR YARO PART 1 ( with 10,000 downloads currently) and MAGANI A GONAR YARO PART 2 (recent with 1000 downloads), AMFANIN NONON RAKUMI A JIKIN DAN ADAM, AMFANIN LEMON GRASS and other applications . Go there and download please. He is commended by some healthcare practitioners for  his great effort of  representing and translating some medical information into Hausa language, in which  the information was originally written in English language, but he represented the information in Hausa language with some degree of accuracy - educating and enlightening many people on some health problems, especially information on sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and vaginities which they didn't have access to due to language barrier. Here is what a pharmacy-student said on Isyaku's internet publication ( a public comment made ; it's still there on Madinah Islamic Medicine blog , under menu - products):

Ibrahim Jatau 21 September 2015 at 03:37:

"I'm impressed! going through your blog, my believe was you have a medical background, but after reading your profile I found the opposite!! You have really tried..... this is what we want from our people!! you people are making us proud! Happy that you make the page in hausa language! I'm a pharmacist currently in Malaysia, we have the same ideology in common May Allah see us through."

Isyaku has business partners in Kano and  Lagos, especially in Lagos with a business partner (pharmacist) who is interested in alternative medicine , particularly interested in medicinal plants which could be potential for manufacturing of safe modern natural medicine products with NAFDAC approval. Ahmed works with them by giving them information on local herbs and their samples for research and laboratory investigation. He also assists herbal practitioners start up serious businesses by helping them get registered with the right authorities (such as Corporate Affairs Commission ) and other associations. He has particularly helped in the establishment of herbal point registered by CAC under the name "Bilal Food Supplement & Islamic Medicine."

Isyaku has particularly talked about many awkward  heath problems related to sex life in marriage among Hausa people in his internet publications, problems such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, penile shrinkage, masturbation and many issues about male and female sexuality,  which were unspoken before or hardly spoken due to some cultural reasons.  He has boldly uncovered those health issues disturbing people  in which he rooted out the causes of the problems in light of science, calling for a concern and intervention for sexual wellness among couples. He's looking forward to developing a Playstore application that will facilitate understanding many health conditions and diseases in Hausa language in an effort to promote health issues awareness  among  Hausa-speaking people who do not understand English,  as a  Hausa native speaker and a linguist Ahmed is.
